Hopefully this will be a great way for me to write down those funny moments in time in my life. With kids there is always something and I am just a large kids still finding my way. So to all of you that have been doing this for a while I am now on the band wagon.
Today at church our stake had Elder Bednar come and speak. what a down to earth guy. He talked about being loaded down and what a great joy that is in our lives. We just have to be loaded down with the right things. And how blessed we are to have this difficult time in our economy so we can evaluate our load and see if it's really what we need to be dedicating our time and energy to. He very clear said that we have the time to do what every we want. It is our choice in what we spend our efforts doing. He talked about having family prayer and scripture study every morning before his kids headed to seminary and wondering if it was worth the effort. he learned years later that what the kids got out of it was consistency. Everything we do it line upon line.
So now I get (i'm trying not to say "have to" and look at this as an oppertunity) to look at my life and figure out what I should have in my load and what to get rid of from the back of my "truck". I have never been good at this "I want it all" has been my moto for a long time. Well as I go through my life I will see what happends and let you all know.
